Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms apply to MyFrontDeskAI, a service brought to you by AMIR1 (“we”, “us” or “our”). They cover your use of this website and chat assistant, and the basis on which we provide the MyFrontDeskAI AI phone receptionist service. By using this website you agree to these terms.
1. Website and chat assistant
The website and chat assistant provide general information about MyFrontDeskAI and let you submit an enquiry. Their content is not a binding quotation, guarantee or service agreement. The chat assistant is automated; where it cannot help, it refers you to our team.
2. The service
MyFrontDeskAI is an AI phone receptionist that answers calls, captures caller details, books appointments, routes calls and follows up on missed calls according to rules approved by the client. The packages and monthly prices published on our Packages page are in South African rand. A package is activated only after we have confirmed the call flow, business information, routing rules, calendar requirements and approved responses with the client and the client has accepted our written proposal or order. We may accept or decline an enquiry.
Each package includes a monthly allowance of AI-handled minutes as published on the Packages page. Any additional usage or third-party service charges are agreed with the client before they are enabled. Billing, notice and cancellation terms are set out in the proposal or order that the client accepts.
3. Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for giving us accurate and current business information and approved answers, for keeping the opening call disclosure switched on, for having a lawful basis for the handling of its callers’ information, and for keeping a human fallback or duty number available for urgent calls. The client must not use the service for unlawful, misleading or abusive purposes.
4. What the AI receptionist can and cannot do
The receptionist follows the rules configured for the client and passes sensitive, uncertain or urgent conversations to a person. It does not give medical, legal or financial advice. Like any automated system it can misunderstand or make mistakes, so it is not a substitute for emergency services and must not be relied on as the only way to reach help in an emergency.
5. Call disclosure and consent
Every call opens with a short disclosure that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant, and, where recording applies, that the call may be recorded. The AI conversation continues only once the caller agrees. If the caller declines or does not respond, the call ends.
6. Third-party services
The service depends on telecommunications, artificial-intelligence, messaging, calendar, payment, hosting and other providers. Their own terms and availability may apply, and deposits and payment links are processed by the payment provider; we do not take card details over the phone.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website or service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with their operation, submit unlawful content, or use automated means in a way that harms the service.
8. Intellectual property
The website, brand, designs, text and software are owned by or licensed to us. You may view the site for legitimate business evaluation but may not reproduce or exploit its content without permission.
9. Availability and liability
We take reasonable care with the website and service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business or opportunity arising from a missed, misrouted or mis-handled call.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and POPIA Notice.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version here. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
